Seeking a dynamic payroll professional to join our friendly team-oriented environment and play a hands-on leadership role for the continuous exceptional payroll processing services we provide to our clientele!

About the Role:

Responsibilities-

  • Oversee and execute the payroll function and lead the payroll team including computing and verifying wages, deductions, taxes, and other payroll-related transactions
  • Update records by reviewing and entering modifications, including exemptions, deductions, status and pay, vacation earned, insurance modifications etc.
  • Recording and reporting on payroll data and statistics
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll laws, regulations, and policies
  • Managing year-end tax reporting and other payroll-related tasks

About You:

  • You are an experienced payroll professional with a strong leadership ability
  • You have experience as a payroll processor and can lead and guide the payroll team to ensure that all payrolls are processed correctly and on time
  • Payroll processing experience required
  • Experience with PTO policies, and payroll applications with a timeclock interface
  • Knowledge of payroll policies, procedures, tax requirements and other payroll deduction guidelines including FOC and garnishments.
  • Strong computer and HRIS skills with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to resolve problems and improve processes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively

Nice to Have:

  • A CPP with compliance experience
  • Time keeping software experience
  • Multi-state payroll experience and varying size payroll processing experience

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
